       Some time ago, when I sent samples to some customers, I received such a response; saying that a hardware lock in our factory has something like watermark or water mark on the surface. Ask me what's the situation? After several times of communication, I knew where the watermark was. So I ran to the workshop, opened the container from which the samples were taken out, picked up a box, and watched it slowly. After tearing off the protective film one by one, I did find a few things on the surface of the lock that looked like watermarks. So I wiped it gently with my hand, but it couldn't be wiped off. I was also anxious. How could such a thing happen. After we return from electroplating, we strictly select the parts and then assemble them. Even after the assembly is completed, there will be a quality inspection for the final comprehensive inspection of the function and appearance. I feel a bit incomprehensible in this situation.

     Lifting the box with the hardware lock, I went back to the office. Under the lamp, I carefully inspected the surface of some products. There are few products, and some don’t. So I called to the workshop and asked the quality department if they had missed any untested products. They said that they were packaged only after inspection. This is weird, how could this be? I was very uneasy. Everyone understands that the quality of a product represents the image of a manufacturer. Except for this situation, no one wants to see it.

     Just when I lowered my head to get absorbed, I saw a female colleague looking in the mirror. Yes, usually when our mirror is very fuzzy, put a layer of moisture on it and wipe it down to make it clear. So I picked up a product and hugged it to my mouth, then wiped it with my hands; yeah, it's clean, there is nothing. Apart from the excitement, I feel deceived by an illusion. Then I picked up another lock with similar watermark and watermark, and wiped it back and forth a little harder than before. There was nothing, and it became more beautiful; at this moment, I was relieved.

      After finding the reason, I immediately contacted the customer and explained the specific situation. For the hardware lock products we are producing, each finished product will be covered with a protective film, one is to prevent scratches; the other is to protect the color and brightness of the electroplating. This is very necessary for manufacturers who often stock up. I usually remind the stock customers that hardware products are not suitable for stocking. After all, metal products have many taboos; unlike plastic or leather products, they are easy to protect. In general, our company seldom does inventory, and we only make large-scale goods when we have orders. Even if there is a little stock, it is prepared for the customers to need samples.

    The reason why such marks are left on the surface of the hardware lock product is the result of the oil layer of the protective film tape falling off; just wipe it. Sometimes they are misled by some falsehoods because they are not familiar with them; even worse, they can cause misunderstandings.
