But dear friends, have you noticed that some of the bags bought by friends, within a few months, the hardware accessories on them began to turn yellow, red, fade, or have small black spots, and the electroplating layer peeled off; In this way, no matter how beautiful the bag is, it will lose a lot of light.  

     We know that when a hardware accessory tears off its protective film and is ready to use it, it comes in close contact with people and things in nature, such as the touch of human hands, the adsorption of dust and water vapor, the ingress of water droplets, wind corrosion, oxidation, and so on. If the protection is improper, it will shorten the use time of our bags.

     First, let's talk about the electroplating of luggage accessories. The number of times of electroplating has a lot to do with the degree of rust prevention of hardware products. Usually our hardware accessories manufacturers do two kinds of electroplating. One is rack plating, which is polished and hung up in an electroplating factory one by one; therefore, the quality is very good. The other is barrel plating. Electroplating is done by simply passing the rough edge, passing the drum or shaking the machine. The electroplating is placed in a large tank and rolled up. Therefore, after electroplating, the surface will have some small pits, small black spots, not smooth and so on. These are all product grades due to differences in polishing and electroplating processes. We all like products with good smoothness, uniform color and strong brightness, so rack plating is the best choice.  

      Let's talk about sealing oil, there is another name called "Laijia". It is another layer of protection outside the electroplating layer. It can separate the direct contact between the electroplating layer and the outside world, greatly improving the safety of the electroplating layer. How to identify whether a hardware fitting is oil-sealed or not? 1. Look at the degree of light reflection on the surface of the hardware accessories. For example: the difference between before and after the mobile phone film. In this way, everyone should have a bit of spectrum in their hearts. Of course, only such an identification method is unscientific and incomplete. Not all friends understand this kind of craft, it is very abstract to say that. 2. Check to see if there is a small oil drop-like condensate on the lower edge of the product. To give another example, when you wake up in the morning, the small water drops on the leaves flow from wherever they are low. After the oil is sealed, there will always be excess oil flowing to the lower edge when drying. After drying, it will condense there; this can only be noticed by careful observation. Generally, products with strict requirements have to undergo salt spray testing (this is a professional term, and I will talk about it later if there is an opportunity).   Metal is different from other items.

After we understand how to choose the products we want, we should also pay attention to some daily matters:

1. After going out in the rain or accidentally being drenched by water, wipe dry in time when you go home; keep the surface of the hardware accessories dry.

2. If the bag is not in use, remember to wipe clean the dust and water mist on it, and then store it.

3. If you don't use it for a long time, try to put it in a dry place where the wind does not often blow; it can be taken out occasionally to dry.

4. Try to avoid contact with chemicals such as sulfuric acid and banana water.

5. Keep away from sharp metal objects to avoid scratches on the plating layer.

6. Do not press hard to avoid deformation.

7. Do not disassemble the installed accessories privately, so as not to reinstall it and affect the function and senses.
